VMWARE LSUSB NOT SHOWING INSTALL
I did a fresh install of Kali linux and it's kernel version is 4.19.0-kali4-amd64. If still doesn't work, follow below steps. I am posting the order of comands I used from begining.įollow 4 steps under build guide in the github page. I didn't try blacklisting internal wireless it but it should work.

In the file, type blacklist rtl8xxxu and then save and exit.Ĭheck your internal wireless driver name using $ lsusb and blacklist it. leafpad creates it automatically with above command. Initially there is no nf file, so need to create a new one. Rtl8xxxu is I guess a common driver(not a specific for your model). There might be an issue where rtl8xxxu driver will be used instead of the newly installed one. $ sudo apt-get install linux-headers-$(uname -r)
Lsusb : shows what driver your current wireless cards are running $ lsusb shows TP-Link TL-WN822N Version 4 RTL8192EU
Internal wifi: Intel dual band wireless 3165
Kali linux version: 5.2.0-kali2-amd64 (latest) I successfully installed the tp-link driver on kali linux today.
